We help migrants and former refugees to be job-ready and road-ready!
Welcome to Migrant Action Trust, where our programs fall into three distinct categories: Migrants Supporting Migrants (MSM), Checking and Assisting Resettlers, Elderlies, and Solo Mums (CARES), and Puketāpapa Community Driving School (PCDS).
Migrants Supporting Migrants
Under our MSM program, we provide our service users with invaluable opportunities to enhance their prospects of joining the New Zealand workforce. Our offerings include monthly Employment and Immigration Workshops, personalized 1:1 sessions covering CV and Cover Letter Writing, Job Interview Preparation, and Immigration Consultation. Additionally, we provide English Language and IELTS/PTE classes tailored specifically for individuals with temporary visas in New Zealand.
C.A.R.E.S.
Within our CARES Programmes, we extend our support to the elderly community by conducting regular visits and addressing their basic technological needs, along with other assistance tailored to our service users' requirements.
Puketāpapa Community Driving School
Our commitment to empowering migrants and former refugees extends beyond employability. We believe in ensuring their readiness for all aspects of life, including the road. Hence, we proudly introduce the Puketāpapa Community Driving School (PCDS), a community-led driving school focused on equipping our driving students with independence and confidence in their driving skills.
At Migrant Action Trust, we strive to provide comprehensive assistance to individuals from diverse backgrounds, preparing them for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Join us in creating a supportive and inclusive community.
