Just arrived in Aotearoa or looking for work? Don’t miss this FREE and practical workshop designed to help newcomers and jobseekers understand their employment rights and navigate the world of work with confidence.

👉 Join our friendly, practical session with lawyers from Auckland Community Law Centre and learn about:

• Rights and responsibilities before and after employment
• Contractor vs employee: know the difference
• Minimum employment rights and entitlements
• Handling workplace disputes
• Recognising workplace exploitation

The Migrant Action Trust, in partnership with the Tangata Tiriti - Treaty People, and Wesley Community Centre, will be holding a FREE Te Tiriti o Waitangi Workshop for everyone.

This workshop will be run by facilitators from Tangata Tiriti - Treaty People and aims to provide simple and accurate information about Te Tiriti o Waitangi/The Treaty of Waitangi. The workshop hopes to encourage attendees to refresh their knowledge about Te Tiriti/The Treaty; to learn more about the history of Aotearoa New Zealand, and ultimately, to understand their obligations in upholding Te Tiriti/The Treaty.
