Migrant Action Trust offers a series of job support workshops and webinars aimed at helping migrants find employment through working through their CV, Covering letter and or job interview.
Targeted CV &Covering Letter WorkshopA workshop that tackles not only the basics of a CV and Covering Letter but the fundamentals that help make your application stand out.

Job interview workshopAn exciting workshop filled with activities to help get participants ready to take on any kind of job interview. The workshop will cover job interview basics, strategies and tips to help get you started. There are activities that will help you gain feedback and insights into your own interview style and how best to improve on it.

Open Road driver training programme

The Open Road Programme is aimed at helping refugees gain confidence and experience driving in New Zealand. We currently operate in West Auckland.
Mentors, with help of qualified Driving Instructors supervise a learner driver until they are ready to sit the Restricted Test. This usually takes between 14-20 weeks.

Puketāpapa Community Driving School (PCDS)

Puketāpapa Community Driving School is a full-service, community-owned social enterprise dedicated to make driver training and simulated testing more accessible and affordable for youth, women, migrants and former refugees.
DRIVE ONE, GIVE ONE
By choosing to be trained through Puketāpapa Community Driving School, you enable us to offer the same services at a subsidized rate to those who face barriers gaining their licences. For every FIVE PAID driving sessions equals ONE driving lesson for a former refugee or those who need immediate training.
